This plein air still life was painted in Alanya, Turkey, in March 2026, where even simple objects felt filled with light and air. I was drawn to the contrast between the bright, warm yellow of the lemons and the cool, vibrating purples of the flowers.
What fascinated me most was how the light softened everything — edges dissolve, colors merge, and the scene becomes less about objects and more about atmosphere and sensation.
