Painted plein air in Alanya, Turkey, in March 2026, this work explores the transparency of water and the way light moves through it. I was especially drawn to the shifting colors — greens, turquoise tones, and the warm reflections of stones beneath the surface.
The surface is constantly moving, yet the light reveals a quiet, hidden structure underneath. This painting is about that fragile balance between motion and clarity.
