This painting was created during my painting trip to the Costa Brava, Spain, inspired by the beautiful Santa Clotilde Gardens, one of the region’s most enchanting places overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
What captivated me most was the harmony between the elegant cypress trees, carefully shaped hedges, and the distant blue horizon. The sunlight filtered through the trees, creating a rhythm of warm highlights and cool shadows that naturally guided the eye toward the sea. The quiet figure of the sculpture adds a timeless presence, making the garden feel both peaceful and contemplative.
Painted entirely on location, this artwork captures not only the beauty of the landscape but also the serene atmosphere of a Mediterranean morning, where architecture, nature, and light exist in perfect balance.
